Critical Plant and Processes should be inspected by professionals
At FIELD Engineering we do more than tick the boxes. Our experience and expertise with critical plant and processes allows us to carry out efficient audits, advise on modifications necessary for compliance and prepare professional reports. It’s not easy for employers to keep up with changing codes of practice so you can benefit from our up-to-date knowledge of standards and technology.
We’re acknowledged experts with a particular focus on crane incident & accident inspections and lifting systems, so you can be assured our inspecting engineers understand the professional audit process and will prepare professional standard reports.
Crane Inspection & High Risk Plant Inspection
Inspection of Cranes is one of FIELD Engineers’ signature services. We are represented by one of our directors, David Hartigan, on the Australian Standards technical sub-committee for mobile cranes so we are always up to date with the latest developments in Australian Standard, technology and international trends in this area.
FIELD Engineers has been at the forefront of Major Crane Inspection since 2006 when the Queensland Code of Practice for Mobile Cranes was introduced. We have certified the overhaul of hundreds of cranes of all types and have dealt with almost every imaginable problem along the way. Principal Engineer David Hartigan is endorsed by the Crane Industry Council of Australia and CraneSafe for all crane types.
Whilst we’re highly regarded in mobile crane inspections, we’re also qualified to inspect & consult on overhead cranes & tower cranes.
Our inspectors are CraneSafe endorsed, and undergo regular training and development to ensure their knowledge remains current. They operate within FIELD Engineers’ ISO9001 Endorsed Quality Assurance System.
We also certify critical repairs, conduct damage reporting and can assist with design registration.
In addition to our top level expertise with cranes, we have extensive experience in other fields of high risk plant, ranging from escalators and elevators to high force jacking systems.
In Australia, all employers are obliged to ensure that risks associated with their plant and equipment are properly managed. It’s not easy to keep abreast of the various Codes of Practice, Australian Standards and legislation that apply to industrial plant. FIELD Engineers can help you stay compliant and ahead of the game.
Our auditors are trained and qualified. They follow a standardised audit process of research, planning, inspection, gap analysis and reporting. We produce professional reports that clearly identify any defects, as well as provide opinion on how best to rectify them and how quickly you need to act.
