A purpose built Heavy Weighing Kit is now available for hire. With a capacity of over 550 Tonnes, the Kit removes any doubt about the actual weight and location of Centre of Gravity; giving lifting and logistics planners peace of mind.

The engineered system is capable of simultaneously measuring loads at 16 locations and determining both load weight and exact location of the centre of gravity of the weighed item.
Load levels are controlled with a laser level to ensure the item is not subjected to deflection or twist during the weighing process. |

Typical benefits of weighing critical loads at the commencement of the lift planning process are:
- Ability to reduce crane sizes due to reduced multiple crane lift factors and mass contingency. This can result in significant cost savings.
- Confirmation that available cranage will be capable of lifting loads.
- Prior knowledge of how a load will behave once lifted to reduce risk of accident.
| The kit has also been used to verify assembly masses for use in settling disputes over fabrication costs.
